The all new season of of Game of Thrones is set to be released starting 24th April, 2016. HBO has released the first official Game of Thrones Season 6 trailer. Earlier, the official page of the famous TV show has released a mystery poster on its official Facebook page that has been subject to a huge fan talk on social media, largely on Reddit and Facebook.

The TV series is based on George R.R. Martin’s book series “A Song of Ice and Fire”. HBO has successfully franchised the first 5 installments of the series and fans can’t wait to see the stories of blood, lust, love and revenge as the cast and crew prepare for the release.

Game of Thrones Season 6

It is still unclear if Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) will come alive – something that has been the subject of the Game of Thrones debate. There were speculations about Kit Harington filming for the Season 6 which he later confirmed.

Time Out London grilled Harington for details on Game of Thrones season 6. At first, the actor tried to play coy. “Look, I’m not in the show any more. I’m definitely not in the new series,” he said. But when pressed, Harington confessed, “I filmed some scenes of me being dead,” adding jokingly that “it’s some of my best work.” That’s about as far as Harington would go however, as he claimed to know nothing about the new season. Well, almost nothing: “I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!”

Game of Thrones Season 6

We will have to wait to watch if Jon Snow has really perished and Kit Harington has been playing flashback scenes. Killing has been George Martin’s favorite thing in the whole series which is why many fans have little expectations.

Game of Thrones Season 6

Isaac Hempstead-Wright who played Bran Stark in the former seasons is back and he’s all grown up. Tyrion Lannister (played by Peter Dinklage) seems to still have gotten hold of his old habit of women and wine. Emilia Clarke as Princess Daenerys Targaryen will again set out on journey to take what she thinks is rightfully hers.

Although you might not see what you are expecting, which is the beauty of Geroge Martin’s plots but one thing is for sure: it’s going to be interesting as usual. Or more.
