Beyonce, Lamar & Adele dominate the 2023 Grammy nominations

Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, and Adele will compete for multiple awards at the 2023 Grammy awards.

Beyoncé and Adele will go head-to-head for all the major prizes at the 65 Grammy awards.

Both artists have been nominated for album of the year – Adele for her sumptuous fourth album 30, and Beyoncé for her dancefloor opus Renaissance.

Adele’s Easy On Me and Beyoncé’s Break My Soul are up for song and record of the year, respectively.

British stars Harry Styles and Coldplay are up for the best album, as are Swedish pop icons Abba.

The quartet received their first-ever album of the year nomination for Voyage, released last year after a 39-year hiatus.

This year, Beyoncé led all nominees with nine for her celebrated album, Renaissance. Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers helped Lamar earn eight nominations, while Adele and Brandi Carlile tied for seven for their respective albums, 30 and In These Silent Days.

Beyonce is now tied with her husband Jay-Z for the most Grammy nominations in history, with 88, surpassing Sir Paul McCartney and Quincy Jones.

In addition, If Beyoncé wins at least four Grammys next year, she will surpass conductor Sir George Solti’s record of 31 Grammys.

Moreover, Taylor Swift has received multiple nominations for her re-recording of All Too Well from 2012. However, her most recent album, ‘Midnights,’ was released too late to be considered for the 2023 field.

“Out of everything I’ve written, ‘All Too Well 10’ is the song I’m most proud of. It’s momentous and surreal to be nominated for Song of the Year at the Grammys, an award I’ve never won that honors the songwriting “Taylor Swift stated in an Instagram story.
