A security van in Hong Kong spilled about $HK 15 million on a busy road in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. The amount is equivalent to about $1.93 million USD. The notes were scrambled by motorists and nearby people as soon as they saw notes on the road. Some even stopped in the middle of moving traffic to collect the notes. Apparently, the personnel in the security van were not aware of the shed notes.
The footage of the incident went viral on the internet after it was posted by one of the eyewitnesses. According to BBC News, police have appealed to help trace people who were involved in scrambling the spilled money.
